My Thoughts:-
I personally don’t know what to make of the texture and feel of KISS ME HEAVY ROTATION lip gloss. It doesn’t feel like a lip gloss or a lip balm. It has the consistency of OCC lip tars, without the intense color payoff. Also this lip gloss gets a little drying after an hour and there is not much of a shine. It creates more of a matte nude lip and a good lip scrub as well as lip balm is a must before applying this lip gloss. The color is a light peachy pink when you swatch it but on my lips, it does look very washed out alone and when I apply concealor, I find that it takes on the shade of the concealor. I find myself having to use either my CandyDoll Lip concealor or MAC’s Lipglass ( Lust) to get the best out of this lip gloss.
Hello! I don’t see any resemblance with the lips on the packaging and my own lips. I am wearing a thin coat of lip concealor & a dab of KISS ME in the pic above. This was taken in natural daylight. Although I’m not loving the texture of KISS ME, I have to say that it looks better in photograph than in real life. I find streaks of unevenness if I talk or drink, or if I put on a little too much gloss, so that kinda makes me paranoid about checking my lips ever so often if I do wear this lip gloss out.
Some people like the twisting - OPEN /CLOSE action of KISS ME packaging. Well, I hate it. I have a memory of a fish and if I were in a rush, I would twist it and leave it that way and put it back into my pouch and that’s the end of it. I can just imagine lip gloss oozing out from my pouch and I would be kicking myself and threatening to just dump this lipgloss in the nearest bin!
I would leave KISS ME at home and never take it out because I know just how careless and forgetful I can be. I’ve read other reviewers who adore this packaging but I personally don’t care for it. I am really old school about how lip glosses should look!
Well, I’m not crazy over this lip gloss at all. I don’t quite know how it will hold up in public cause I’m a little hesitant about looking like a washed out ghost and having to check my lips a billion times is a big turn off. I’m hoping this is one product that I will hate and than grow to love after a while. A girl can wish!
I’ll probably update on Kiss Me if I do fall in love with it though :-)
