September Product Hits & Misses

So now that October is here, I can safely give the low down on products that I loved & products that I could have easily done without in the month of September 2010.

MISSES

1) Coastal Scents Dual Eyeshadow Pencil
hmm.. NYX eyeshadow pencils fare much better. These look great packaging wise and are even larger than NYX pencils but the quality is nothing to rave about. I prefer the black and browns. The lighter colors are a miss because it doesn’t show up on my lids at all ! It gets scratchy too!


2) LUSH Icy Blue Soap
They should discontinue this crappy soap. No lather, sharp yucky smell. it’s suppose to have a peppermint smell but I just pick up a detergent like scent... eww .. eww…eww…I dumped this!

3) Loreal Instant Impact Felt Liner
I deserve owning this miserable felt liner as it was a rushed purchase. I was rushing home to feed my boy and I just had to replace my L'Oreal super liner ( which dried up after intense usage for a few months. I luv the liner but the short life span sucks ).
This felt liner is runny and melts in heat and sweat !
** word of caution - loreal instant impact felt liner  S U C K S

HITS
1) Coastal Scents Metal Mania Palette
I was scared it might contain the kind of metallics that would make me look like a glitter ball but I was wrong. I love the soft shimmer of the 88 colors. I only have a few complaints with regards to color selection but overall, a great buy, smooth and easy application. Totally worth the money!

2) Rimmel Color Showoff Lipstick
Amazing lipstick. Colors are rich and super fun! Review coming up soon!!
 
3) REVLON Soft Nude Colorburst Lipstick
Just reviewed this lovely lipstick. A drugstore lipstick that glides on like butter and looks so good!

Etude House - Dr Mascara Fixer Review

 

I’m totally in love with Etude House Cosmetics. They are such a dream to use and in my first EH review some weeks back, I actually said I would not re-purchase the Kissful Lip Tint anymore. I really take that back because I actually got used to the product and found that it gave me really PINK looking lips. When I used a lipstick first then layered the lip tint on top, the effect was even better.

DR MASCARA FIXER REVIEW

1) Natural Curled Lashes

2) Apply EH Dr Mascara Fixer

 

3) Apply MYLASH Mascara

( I got this from Japan)

- My eyelashes are freaking long & it so holds my curl!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

4) Quick Comparison

- I curled and applied Mylash to both sides. I didn’t apply Dr Mascara Fixer to my right eye… My right lashes are actually pretty long due to mylash mascara but its completely straight and the curl went away in minutes. The left side with EH Mascara Fixer, held the curl really well and really lengthened my lashes too! I’m so happy!

 

5) Removal

- It takes some time to remove ur mascara with this primer, cause it really has a strong hold.

I’m working on a few other EH product reviews( Eye shadow palettes and lip concealor) but I thought I would do this first cause of the amazing results. Now, I feel that my useless mascaras can be salvaged with this amazing eyelash primer. I hope it works for all mascaras and will update on this!

Blair sweetie did a really interesting blog post “Some eye candy” and she was snapping away at Majo Majo, Kate and Coffret D’or ! I was at a local WATSONs today and thought I would sneak 2 pics to show u guys the JAPANESE SECTION! I just love this stuff! Makeup in general makes me a thousand times more excited than looking at clothes & my frens do make fun of me cause of this. I can’t help it – I am a makeup junkie!

These are the Sony's Curvy Lip Silicone that are excellent!!! They make ur lips look so PERKY, POUTY & SO SO KISSABLE. They look amazing in pictures too( cam whores, look for this!)

  

All I need now is Sugar Daddy to buy me all these stuff! KIDDING!
