Addict: Heidi Montag admits she became addicted to plastic surgery on TV special Primetime: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far?
She infamously underwent ten surgeries in one day, including a chin reduction and second nose job.
But Heidi Montag now claims she did not feel 'prepared enough' for the procedures, and blames her late surgeon Dr Frank Ryan.
'Maybe I should have known,' the former Hills star says on TV special Primetime: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far?
'But how can you know when your doctor's saying, "It's just a little of this, it's just a little of that?" You know, it really becomes a lot.'
'I definitely think I should have been way more informed,' she says.
'I think that doctors should really walk you through all aspects of it, not just the glamorous side of it.
To blame? Dr Frank Ryan, who was killed in a car accident in August
'Doctors, it's like they're selling you cookies or something.'
Montag's surgery was performed by Dr Frank Ryan, who died back in August.
He passed away from head injuries after his Jeep tipped over the side of Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
Back then, a shocked Heidi actually paid tribute to her doctor.
Heidi tweeted that he was 'The most amazing person I have ever known.
'He was an angel and changed my life and the lives of everyone he met,' she added.
'He was the most brilliant talented surgeon who will ever exist. Dr. Frank Ryan changed the world.'

Bandaged: Montag says she looks like she was 'hit by a truck' following her surgeries last year
But now she has clearly changed her tune - saying she felt like she was 'hit by a truck' following her ten procedures.
Montag, who admits she is addicted to plastic surgery, says she would like to get her breasts reduced after having them enlarged to a G-cup.
'I don't want the biggest boobs in the world and, to be honest, I would take them out and downsize them but I don't want to go under the knife again.
'I feel like I'm stuck with them now,' she adds. 'Sometimes I wish I could go back to the original Heidi with nothing because I do look at that fresh faced girl and that is who I am.'

Montag also says that her recovery from the surgeries hindered her marriage to her husband Spencer Pratt.
'He didn't sign up to be the nurse to his 23-year-old wife at the time, day and night,' she said.
'It was so traumatising what my body looked like. I couldn't look in the mirror. I was hysterically crying, and he's like, "I didn't marry this girl."'
Montag recently renewed her vows with Pratt in a beach front ceremony in Carpenteria, California following a separation.
